Malanga

Malanga lead by Patrice Hughes was in-line with Kassav' band, looking for a new music for french-west indians who was invaded by haitian & dominican music… Some people call it proto-zouk, other "Zouk", what to remember is a fusion between differents créole style who are gwo ka, kompa, disco, funk, salsa. This debut LP by the band is an evidence of this part of west-indians music scène !
