Commissioned by the Westdeutscher Rundfunk, Köln, premiered there on 8th December 1984. Recorded 3rd and 4th January 1986 at the Academy of Music, München. "In dedication to The Young Mountain of the East, LaMonte - Awakener of Ancient Dreams." Recorded on chromium dioxide tape for playback at normal setting (120μs). Packaged in a double cassette case.
