Escafandra

Escafandra is the debut solo album by Mexican singer-songwriter Josué Ávalos, based in Cologne, Germany. Released in 2011/2012, it features ten original compositions blending Latin American canción de autor, trova, and folk with influences of bolero and huapango. The lyrics, poetic and existential in nature, reflect on themes such as life, death, uprooting, and everyday experience.
