Pere Pubill Calaf, known as Peret was an amazing singer and guitarist. He took the gypsy sounds to fame in Spain, and became the most popular figure of the Catalan Rumba movement. Peret was born in Mataró (Barcelona) and earned his early fame thanks to his explosive live performances.
