The cover is a parody of the box cover of "Downfall", a board game by Milton Bradley. Fans of the album, record stores, and Planet Mu's official site state that the title of this release is "Expert Knob Twiddlers". The Planet Mu site says : "… Mike & Rich’s 'Expert Knob Twiddlers' was made back in 1994.
